Job Overview:
We are seeking a creative and motivated Web Designer to design, enhance, and maintain our website. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for both web design and sustainability, with a keen eye for detail and a user-centered approach. You will work closely with our marketing and development teams to ensure our website not only looks great but also functions smoothly, driving engagement and conversions.
Responsibilities:
- Create visually appealing, user-friendly website designs that align with our brand identity and mission.
- Develop intuitive interfaces that enhance user experience and optimize customer journeys, from browsing to checkout.
- Ensure our website is fully responsive and delivers an optimal experience across all devices, including mobile, tablet, and desktop.
- Work as part of a team to achieve company goal for the long run.
- Work with the content team to design and integrate graphics, banners, and other visual elements that support our marketing initiatives.
- Introducing new ideas and present design option to the clients and implement it accordingly.
- Optimise website design for SEO and ensure all designs meet accessibility standards.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest web design trends, tools, and technologies, and apply them to improve our site
- Launch the live website and provide necessary support and training to trainees and apprentices.
Qualifications:
- Experience: No prior experience required
- Skills: Proficient in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD), Figma, or Sketch.
- Technical Knowledge: Understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript; familiarity with content management systems (e.g., WordPress, Shopify).
- UX/UI Expertise: Strong portfolio showcasing UX/UI design skills and responsive design experience.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail and a passion for creating high-quality, polished web designs.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to think creatively and solve design challenges.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
